Depending on how old you are, you may remember your first bra being a plain white cotton one, filled with embarrassing seams that showed through your tops. They closed in the backs and had uncomfortable straps that had you shrugging to adjust them throughout the day. Some of them were cone shaped, giving them a pointed appearance that made it look like your breasts could double as a weapon. Because of their plainness, you probably didn’t own that many of them, replacing them only as you got older and your breast size increased or when they became too worn to give you the support that you needed.
